My Career in media began photographing Residential and Commercial solar installations, creating advertisements and working alongside the marketing team at mtvSolar. In that time my photos were published in marketing materials for solar panel manufacturer Solarworld, and on the cover of Home Power Magazine.  

In 2015 I was able to get my foot in the door working in the TV and Film industry.  Starting as a Production Assistant on the set of the many Film and Commercial productions that come thru the Washington DC area including Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, SpiderMan Homecoming, Wonder Woman 1984, House of Cards, even showing up in the background of the series finally episode of Scandal.   

Eventually working as a Camera Assistant and a Second Camera operator capturing documentary content, including working with high ranking United States Congressman, Military officials and even The President of the United States.  

Although I find it a great honor and very much enjoy those experiences, I also love being home, enjoying the fresh air and traffic jam less mountains of West Virginia with my family and pets.  

In 2020 I decided it was time to open Matt Hov Creative LLC and obtain the FAA part 107 Drone certification, with the intention to devote more time to working with and enjoying my local community. 

Matt Hov Creative LLC offers Photo, Video and Drone services for real estate listings, small business promotions, construction projects and portrait photography.  

Recent clients include Mountain View Solar, Dan Ryan Builders, Brunswick Crossing Community, Berkeley Springs Brewing Company and more.
